The BBC Choir as it's known meets on average a couple of times a month on a Friday night at 7.15pm. Normally the first and last Fridays of the month. We meet for practice, for fellowship and enjoy singing Christian songs and arrangements and from time to time are involved as a choir within the Church services. There is always an opportunity to come along. You would be made most welcome.

For further details contact Geoff. Tel: 01507 463963

The drama group meets each week - Monday one week from 8.00pm to 9.00pm and the following week on a Tuesday from 7.15pm to 9.00pm. It is only a small group of people at the moment and anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to join - especially if you are good at learning lines!!! By having drama we are able to portray God’s word in a different media which can make it easier for people to understand.   We take drama into the local school and to various other groups within the church including often using the sketches during Sunday worship.

Ladies light lunches are run by the church several times a year
on a Saturday at 12.30pm. This is a good time of fellowship,
a chance to make new friends and listen to a health talk as well.
Please check out our events listings for March, May, September & November for dates.

Come along to our Men's healthy breakfast's on a Saturday morning at
8.30am, check out the dates during January, April, May, July & October on our events listing. Enjoy good company, a well cooked breakfast and listen to a health talk. All men most welcome.

Holiday Club was run for the first time in August 2013 aimed at people over the age of 50. It was born out of an idea we picked up form a Parish Nursing Symposium. Running over 3 consecutive days from 10.00am – 2.00pm. We created a quiet area or reading area where people could relax in easy chairs to read daily newspapers magazines or do puzzle books. Over the three days people could play board games or do jigsaws, but we also had sessions with a fitness instructor (it was very gentle), a lady doing foot sessions,  there was hand massage, and a team checking peoples BMI and offering health advice. There was a talk from Age UK and the local police also popped in to talk about security in the home and for the more energetic there was Table Tennis and darts, and a lot more. It was so successful that people have asked us to do it again so, the date for 2014 is August Tues, Weds & Thurs 19th – 21st . 10.00am – 2.00pm

Line Dancing meets on a Wednesday afternoon at 2.00pm.

We are a small but very friendly group, and like to welcome new people. Most of us started with two left feet, but soon managed to learn easy dances.

We concentrate mostly on the easier dances, but have introduced one or two more difficult ones recently .

Line dancing is a good way to gently exercise both body and memory in an informal way.

The tea/coffee break is usually most welcome where we can chat and make friends
